The District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Nigeria on Sunday, May 19, 2019, hosted the German Consul General to Nigeria, Dr. Stefan Traumann at The Governor’s Magazine Launch/Rotary Friendship Night.
The Special Guest Speak, Dr. Traumann spoke to Rotarians and everyone getting ready to travel to Hamburg, Germany for the annual RI Convention; enlightened them on the basic things they need to know which will serve as a guide throughout their stay in Germany.
The event which was chaired by Raf Abanum of Rotary Club of Isolo and co-compered John Senaya of Rotary Club of Ikoyi and Sam Ayetutu of Rotary Club of Omole Golden and, was well attended by District Governor Kola Sodipo and his spouse, Nike, other Past District Governors and their spouses, district leaders, Rotarians, as well as quests and friends of Rotarians.

The Governor’s Magazine Editor, Arinze Okamelu, in his welcome address, noted that the purpose of hosting the German Consul General to Nigeria as the Special Guest Speaker was to prepare Rotarians ahead of the 2019 Rotary International (RI) Convention in June.
The Special Guest Speak, Dr. Traumann who spoke to Rotarians and everyone getting ready to travel to Hamburg, Germany for the annual RI Convention, enlightened them on the basic things they need to know which will serve as a guide throughout their stay in Germany.
Awards of Appreciation were also presented to Rotarians, corporate organizations, media houses, and individuals that have supported The Governor’s Magazine and in extension, the district, in one way or the other this 2018 – 19 Rotary year.
