14 students of Georgeville Academy in Lekki, Lagos state, Nigeria have just been granted a tuition fee scholarship worth N400, 000.
The cheque was presented to the students by the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie during her official visit to the club on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
The District Governor while making the presentation, expressed her satisfaction with such a thoughtful project by the club.
She revealed that the project is in line with one of Rotary’s five avenues of service called ‘Youth Service’ which is aimed at building better future leaders that will continue Rotary’s legacy in our communities.
The Club President, Rtn. Olajuwon Amodu who announced the scholarship gesture by the club, noted that the club’s is not only passionate towards grooming leaders of tomorrow, but well educated ones.
