The Rotary International Governor of District 9110, Nigeria held a strategic business meeting with the Honourable Special Adviser on Works to Mr. Governor of Lagos State at the State Administrative Secretariat recently.
 
 
Engr. (Dr.) Adekunle Olayinka, the Honourable Special Adviser on Works with a warm reception received the the District Governor, Rtn Ifeyinwa Ejezie in the company of Assistant Governor Ezinne Obioha her Chief of Staff, and PAG Olurotimi Adeleye, the District Chairman in Charge of Intergovernmental Relations & Strategic Partnership at the meeting.
 
The District Governor during the meeting engaged the Lagos State Government and requested that the Government should provide an enabling environment for Rotary in the discharge of Rotary’s humanitarian activities.
 
 
Several strategic positions were reached at the meeting which will boost the relationship of Rotary with the Lagos State Government.
Rotary International District 9110, Nigeria appealed that the Government should provide a situation where the ease of doing its business will be seen to be seamless without stringent Government policies and protocols that will be hindering the discharge of service to humanity.
 
Strategically, the DG also espoused the need for the Lagos State Government to assist District 9110 on the quest for landed property for a structural place to nurse the newly born Rotary District 9112 on the Lagos Island corridors.
 
 
The meeting which was held as a precursor to the proposed and slated meeting with Mr. Deputy Governor and Mr. Governor of Lagos State was very successful with the exchange of Lagos State Insignias.
