The District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie on Saturday, October 29 paid condolence visit to the family of late Rtn. Iyalode Alaba Lawson.
The DG was accompanied on the visit by the District Governor-elect, Rotary International, District 9111, Rtn. Dr. Wole kukoyi, District Governor-elect, Rotary International, District 9112, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Ogun State, Rtn Motunrayo Adeleye who is also the current president, Rotary Club of Abeokuta, Hope Presidents, Assistant Governors, Past Assistant Governors, as well as other Rotarians from Lagos and Abeokuta.
The team were received by the late Rtn. Lawson’s sons while the eldest son, Mr Akinola Lawson spoke on behalf of the family.
The condolence visit was carried out following a polio walk exercise by the Rotary district in Abeokuta to mark this year’s World Polio Day.
