Rotary International, District 9110 has emerged top contributing district in all categories of contributions to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, Zone 22 in year 2022-2023
The district received two award trophies: Overall Highest Contributing District and Overall Highest Contribution to PolioPlus at the just concluded 5th All Africa Rotary Institute, Zone 22 in Lusaka, Zambia.
That was not all, as the district further received four award certificates in the following categories:
1. Overall Highest Donor to The Rotary Foundation Contribution
2. Highest Donor to Annual Funds Contribution
3. Highest Donor to PolioPlus Contribution
4. Highest Donor to Endowment Fund Contribution
The awards were received by the Immediate Past District Governor, Rtn. Omotunde Lawson alongside the District Governor, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie and other district leaders and Rotarians.
In a short speech, after picking up the awards, Rtn Lawson thanked all Rotarians for their support and contributions, she urged members of the District to redouble their efforts so that the awards will be retained next Rotary Year.
