The District Governor, Rotarian Ifeyinwa Ejezie has called on Rotarians and all well-meaning Nigerians to support projects being planned by Rotary Club for the 2023-24 Rotary year.
 
 
The District Governor made the call during the investiture ceremony of the 63rd President of the club, Rotarian (Major General ) Abiodun Role Rtd and fundraising dinner on Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
 
The Guest Speaker, AVM Femi Gbadebo, Founder/CEO, Benola Cerebral Palsy Initiative commended Rotary club for its continuous effort towards the betterment of the society while encouraging the general public to do more in terms of projects and donations for homes that take care of children with special needs, adding that such homes have produced notable Nigerians.
 
 
The guest speaker who revealed he has a 27 years old child who can’t speak and is fully dependent, encouraged parents of children with special needs to endeavor to pay more attention to the children so as to know areas where they need help. The Chairman of the occasion was Mr Joe Ehimiaghe, CEO, Beijing Group of Companies.
 
Also present were future and Past District Governors and district leaders, Rotary Club presidents, Rotarians from different Rotary clubs in the district, guests and friends. The 2023-24 board members were also inducted by the president. The event was rounded off with a fundraising session for projects that be carried out by the club this year
