Rotary club of Ijoko led by Hope President Ganiyu Abogunloko empowered 11 indigent widows and women with a total sum of N240, 000.
In the same vein, Rotary Club of Iyana Iyesi Ota led by Hope President Anthony Udi empowered 10 indigent women with a total sum of N200, 000.
Presenting the funds to the women on Saturday, November 25, 2023 was the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie who was on her official visit to the club, accompanied by District Executive Secretary Tayo Adelaja and Deputy District Secretary Henry Akinbobola.
Also present was the spouse of the Club President who is also a member of the club, Rtn. Aishat Abogunloko.
One new Rotarian, Olusola Emehinola was also formally inducted into Rotary Club of Iyana Iyesi Ota by the District Governor.
