Rotary Club of Gbagada has just unveiled newly renovated Paediatrics Centre in Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos.
The centre which was originally built by Rotary Club of Gbagada in 1989 was renovated in collaboration with in Collaboration with The George Charitable Foundation.
The unveiling ceremony held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 was formally carried out by the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat ably represented by Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin alongside the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie as well as the Club President, Rtn. Olubunmi Oguntade.
The Chairman, The George Charitable Foundation, Tein George was presented an appreciation award by the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie and also decorated as a Paul Harris Fellow of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
A mental health section of the centre was also unveiled in line with Rotary International President's area of focus this 2023-24 Rotary year.
