Rotary Club of Ikate led by Hope President Rosemary Adim-okoh has just donated wheelchairs to physically challenged patients of the National Orthopedic Hospital in Igbobi, Yaba, Lagos.
The Hope President and other members of the club on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 led the District Governor, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie to the hospital to formally present the wheelchairs to the beneficiaries as part of her official visit to the club.
Hope President Adim-okoh revealed that this is just the first phase of the wheelchair donation project, as more will further be donated by the club in batches.
The District Governor while presenting the wheelchair, commended the club for lending a hand of support to the victims at this critical time.
Mrs Okorowa Victoria, Head of Medical Social Service Department appreciated the club on behalf of the hospital for the donations.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr Ernest Efeludu was accompanied by his wife who was also full of appreciation to the club.
