Rotary Club of Opebi has so far, this 2023-24 Rotary year, empowered 26 beneficiaries in its annual no-interest revolving loan scheme aimed at supporting indigent men and women.
Some of the beneficiaries were formally presented with the check of N50, 000 each by the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie during the official visit of the District Governor to the club on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
According to the Club President, Rtn. Femi Olaleye, more indigent men and women are most likely to benefit from the loan this Rotary year.
The club also celebrated the DG’s birthday which happens to be the 12th of January.
