The Rotary Club of Abule Egba Metropolitan has just empowered 50 widows and 20 youths in the community.
 
 
The club which is currently under the leadership of Hope President Raphael Oyebamijo distributed food items which include rice and vegetable oil to the widows as part of its empowerment programme for the Rotary year.
 
The club also offered free skill acquisition training in fumigation for 20 youths in the community after which they were provided with a brand new fumigation machine each as start up tool.
 
 
The items were formally handed to the beneficiaries by the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie during her official visit to the club on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
 
Speaking on behalf of the others, one of the beneficiaries of the training appreciated the club for such highly impactful gesture.
 
 
Mrs Ayeni also appreciated the club on behalf of her fellow widows while praying for the club members.
