The Rotary Club of Adeniyi Jones, District 9110 was has just empowered three indigent people in its community
The club under the leadership of Hope President Ade Adebowale, as part of its empowerment project for this 2023-24 Rotary year, donated two brand new grinding machines to Mrs Okunlade and Mrs Helen Adeosun.
Mr Saheed Onifade, a carpenter also got a Cheque of N35, 000 as financial support. The District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie presented the donations to the three beneficiaries on behalf of the club on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
The District Governor who was on her official visit to the club at the time the donations were made, congratulated the beneficiaries while urging them to ensure make effective use of the items and ensure they serve the purpose of which they were donated by the club.
The club also launched a Rotary song book to commemorate of the District Governor's visit.
DG Ejezie was accompanied on the visit by the District Executive Secretary, PAG Tayo Adelaja, the District Treasurer, AG Alex Ajibo, and the Chief of Staff to the DG, AG Ezinne Obioha.
