Rotary Club of Greenfield has just empowered three women in the community with one brand new grinding machine each.
The club led by the Hope President, Rtn. Cynthia Ekwueme also granted a loan of N20, 000 each to the beneficiaries as capital support.
To crown it all, the President Elect of the club, Rtn Chief Nnanna Achiugo also added an additional cash gift of N25, 000 to each of the beneficiaries.
The grinding machines and cash were formally presented to the women during the official visit of the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie to the club on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
The District Governor who was accompanied on the visit by the District Executive Secretary, PAG Tayo Adelaja and Deputy District Secretary, PP Felix Nwangwu charged the beneficiaries to make good use of the machines and make sure they serve the purpose they were donated.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Grace Esejindu appreciated the club on behalf of the other beneficiaries. She assured the club that she will also extend the love the club has showered on her to others by grinding for free whenever the need arises.
