Its time to aggressively preserve our ecosystem which is being threatened by unfavourable environmental factors and members of Rotary Club of Ikeja South under the leadership of the Opportunity President, Joy Agbo are contributing their quota by planting trees in strategic places.

The club members, on Thursday, August 6, stormed the school premises that houses Immaculate Heart Comprehensive High School, and Mende High School in Maryland, Lago state where they planted some trees.

Also joining members of the club in the tree planting exercise in the school premises was District Governor Bola Oyebade, the School's head boy, head girl and principals of the schools.

The club also, as part of its environmental preservation campaign, donated a waste bin to Onigbongbo market in Maryland. The waste pin which was positioned at a strategic place in the market is designed to fulfil the club's mission to "Keep Onigbongbo Market Clean".
