Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metropolitan has just empowered two widows who recently lost their husbands with capital tools.
 
 
The club supported the women named Alhaja Adebisi Arowolo who assists the club in mobilizing members of the community for the numerous projects executed by the club, and Mrs. Tope Adeyemo with grinding machines to help them set up a means of income.
 
The club also donated four hand-washing basins to Ireti Senior Grammar School in Ikoyi, Lagos. The hand-washing basins were received by Mrs Chykugwu, the School Vice Principal, Admin.
 
Speaking on the projects, the Club President, Sunday-Anicho Delight stated that the empowerment project is all about empowering the less privileged in the society while the hand-washing basins donation project was born out of the urgent need to keep students and teachers protect against Coronavirus, especially as schools are about to be re-opened.
