Rotary Club of Lagos Mainland has once again reached out to destitutes in Okobaba, Ebute Meta, Lagos, Nigeria.
 
 
Rotary Club of Lagos Mainland, District 9110 has leveraged on the official visit of the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Ifeyinwa Ejezie to the club on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 to carry out its annual outreach to destitutes at the Oko Baba Home of Destitutes in Ebute Meta, Lagos, Nigeria.
 
The club currently led by Club President Durojaiye Abiola sponsored a complete fumigation of the over 100 rooms in the home, as well as the surrounding environment. 
 
 
That was not all, it also donated food items which were received by the Secretary of the home, Mr. Muhammed Baba who received the items alongside other leaders of the home.
This is not the first time the club will be reaching out to the home as the club members have taken it upon themselves to visit the home with donations and also sponsor fumigation exercise as part of its disease prevention and treatment project.
 
One new Rotarian was however formally inducted into the club by the District Governor  during the club fellowship later in the day.
