Rotary Club of Lagos Palm Grove Estate is set to organize a blood donation camp in the community and also donate sanitary pads to young girls.
 
 
The club President, Rtn Anuj Mararka disclosed this during his investiture ceremony as the 16th President on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
 
The Club President was decorated by the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Ifeyinwa Ejezie alongside his spouse who is also a member of the club.
The District Governor while graciously performing the transfer of collarette from the Immediate Past President of the club, Jayashankar Nalode to Rotarian Murarka, charged him to ensure he takes the club to a higher level, while calling on members of the club to give him all the support he requires to deliver his projects for the year.
 
 
In his acceptance speech, Rtn Murarka revealed his goals as well as the projects the club intends to carry out during the Rotary year and assured everyone of his commitment towards achieving his goals with support of Club members.
The projects include organizing of blood donation camps, distribution of sanitary pads to girls, beautification and preservation of the environment through tree planting, among others.
 
 
Members of the board who will serve with him were also presented and inaugurated. Also present at the event were District Governor- elect, Dr. Wole Kukoyi, Past District Governor, Dr. Deinde Shoga, as well as Past District Governor, Dr. Jide Akeredolu.
Present as members of the District Governor’s entourage were the Chief of Staff, Assistant Governor Ezinne Obioha, the Special Assistant to the DG, Past President, Dr. Laurine Ubanozie and Deputy District Secretary, Past President Felix Nwangwu.
 
The event was also well attended by Presidents from other Rotary Clubs in the district.
