Rotary Club of Lekki Central, District 9110 has donated medical consumables to Ikota Primary Health Centre in Ajah area of Lagos State.
The Club President, Rotarian Dickson Ikhuoria and members of the club, on Sunday, August 5, 2023 led the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Ifeyinwa Ejezie to the Primary Health Centre where some medical consumables were donated to the centre.
The donation exercise followed a needs assessment earlier carried out in the health centre by the club during which medical officials at the health centre had requested for the donated items.
The items were formally presented to Mrs Korede Pitan, the Hospital Administrator who stood in for the Medical Officer for Health, Eti Osa, Dr. Mrs Oguntuase.
Mrs Pitan, while receiving the items thanked members of the club for the donation and promised the club that the donated drugs will be given out to patient for free.
The donation was part of the District Governor's official visit to the club.
six new Rotarians were inducted into the club by the District Governor.
