Rotary Club of Ogba has donated a Phototherapy Machine to the Pediatric section of Airfoce Base Hospital in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
 
 
The club led by the Club President, Rotarian Jide Adesuloro leveraged on the official visit of the District Governor, Ifeyinwa Ejezie to the club on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 to formally present the machine to the hospital.
 
The District Governor while presenting the machine to the Commandant, 661 Nigerian Air Force Hospital, Ikeja, Group Captain M. Mohammed, commended the club for such a thoughtful donation targeted at saving the lives of newborn babies.

 
Group Captain Mohammed who received the machine alongside Group Captain A. E. Bello, the Commanding Officer, Laboratory thanked the club for the donation which will help to reduce infant mortality rate in the hospital, adding that the machine will be used for patients, free of charge.
 
After the charitable exercise,  Capt. Mohammed then led the Rotarians to the office of Air Vice Marshal AY Abdullahi, Air Officer Commanding Logistics Command, Nigerian Air Force who further assured the Rotarians that no money will be charged from patients who use the machine.
 
 
Present with the District Governor during the exercise were District Treasurer,  Alex Ajibo, Chief of Staff Ezinne Obioha, and Assistant District Secretary,  Henry Akinbobola.
