Rotary Club of Ogba under the umbrella of Rotary International, District 9110, on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 offered free Hepatitis test for members of its community.
 
 
The club members led by the president, Adeyemi Abijo donated the instruments for the test- Hepatitis B and C Antigen to Aguda Titun Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos state where the tests were carried out by the health officials in the centre.
 
The club also donated a brand new generator to the centre. The donated as stated by the club president, was based on the needs assessment carried out by the club in the name during which officials at the centre requested for a generator.
 
The District Governor, Dr. Jide Akeredolu who was on an official visit to the club also joined the club in the donation exercise during which he urged officials in the centre to make sure the tests instruments and generator serve the purpose which they were donated for.
 
Also present at the donation were the Medical Officer of Health, Ojodu LCDA, Dr. Anne Okonma; the Head of Admin, Ojodu LCDA, Mrs Olusola Oladunni; the Assistant Director of Nursing for the Centre, Mrs Bolanle Shobowale; and the Officer in Charge (OIC), Chief Nursing Officer, Aguda PHC, Mrs Muliat Gbenle.
 
Thereafter, the club members led DG Akeredolu to Anthony Enahoro Estate, Wempco Road in Ogba where the DG joined members of the club in tree planting exercise.
 
 
Also present during the exercise were officials of Lagos State Parks and Gardens (LASPARK), Planting Maintenance Unit, Agidingbi led by the Chief Scientific Officer, Mrs Afinowi Adebimpe.
