Rotary Club of Shomolu has donated a total of 48 reflective jackets and 24 security jackets to two police stations- Alade and Bashua Police Divisions, both in Shomolu area of Lagos state.
The club currently led by the Club President, Rtn. Peter Arikhan presented the items for donation during the official visit of the District Governor, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie to the club on Thursday, October 5, 2023.
The District Governor who was accompanied on the visit by members of her core team formally handed the items to the police officers while commending the club for such thoughtful donation.
14 new Rotarians were also formally inducted into the club by the District Governor who congratulated the club for achieving such high increase in membership in a single day. She added that the more the number of Rotarians in a club, the more fun the club becomes and also the easier it becomes to carry out highly impactful projects.
