Members of Rotary Club of Shomolu has once again extended their hands of charity to secondary schools in Shomolu area of Lagos state with the donation of branded exercise books. The 37 years old club is also grooming future Rotarians and humanitarians as through the chatter of Interact clubs (the secondary school arm of Rotary).
The newly chartered interact clubs include Interact Club of Shomolu Senior High School and Interact Club of Morocco Comprehensive Junior High School
The club members led by their Imaginative President, Rotarian Lanre Longe on Monday, October 17, 2022 visited the two schools during which their chatter certificates were presented to them.
The District Governor, Rotarian Omotunde Lawson, FCAI joined the club members to Morocco Comprehensive Junior High School where she officially presented the certificate to the Interact Club President and also presented the Rotary Club of Shomolu branded books to the school on behalf of the club.
The two schools got 600 copies of the books each from the total of 4,000 copies which the club will be distributing. The remaining 2,800 copies would be distributed amongst four (4) other schools in Shomolu community in the coming days.
