Rotary Clubs of Akute and Olambe both in District 9110 jointly received the Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, Rtn Ifeyinwa Ejezie on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
The visit which served as the District Governor’s official visit to the two clubs was held at the Ultra International School, Akute, Lagos, Nigeria where members of the two clubs were present to welcome the District Governor and her team. In the course of the visit, Rotary Club of Akute led by the Club President, Benedict Ajike disbursed a total sum of N800, 000 as micro credit loan to 14 beneficiaries.
The cheque was formally presented by District Governor Ejezie to the beneficiaries after which 5 new prospects were inducted into the Rotary Club of Akute by the DG.
In their own case, Rotary Club of Olambe was applauded by the District Governor for the projects they have executed over the years.
Accompanying the District Governor on the visit were District Secretary, Past Assistant Governor Tayo Adelaja, District Treasurer, Past President Alex Ajibo, Chief of Staff, Assistant Governor Ezinne Obioha and the Special Assistant to the District Governor, Past President, Dr. Laurine Ubanozie.
