Oduduwa Junior High School in Gbagada area of Lagos state has just received a fully equipped e-learning facility from Rotary District 9110 in partnership with four Rotary clubs in the district.
 
 
The clubs namely: Rotary Clubs of Gbagada South, Satellite Town, Ikeja New Horizon and New Lagos Ikeja partnered with the district’s “e-learning facility for schools” project- an initiative of the District Governor, Omotunde Lawson, FCAI to provide and install a digital screen, projector, laptop and internet facility for the school, a project which costs about N23million. Commissioning the facility on Thursday, March 16, 2023 was the District Governor alongside the presidents and members of the four partnering clubs.
 
 
A demonstration exercise was carried out by the IT master in the school as he displays the functionalities of the e-learning equipment.
Present was the principal of the school, Mrs Lanre Majekodunmi. Other management and teaching staff, as well as students at the school were also present.
 
 
Similar project has been carried out in some other secondary schools by the district in partnership with other Rotary clubs in the district and more will still be carried out as the aim of the District Governor is to digitalize the learning system of as many as possible schools in Lagos and Ogun states which the district covers with this club cluster e-learning project.
