This is one of the key projects of our Imaginative District Governor, Omotunde Lawson, FCAI upon her assumption of office on July 1, 2022 which motivated her to join the Rotarian Action Group for Hearing where she had the opportunity to get hearing aids for free which she shipped into the country.

The project is being carried out by the District Governor in collaboration with some of the Rotary clubs in the district which contributed financially towards the success of the project.

150 children had however been screened for the hearing aids at the inception of the project few weeks ago after which she decided to intervene in bits.
The entire project costs about N12million as the hearing aids were also sent outside the country through the Decibel Consultant to be designed for the specific impression of each child.

The hearing aids were finally tested and fitted on the students during the District Governor’s visit to the school on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 and the joy on the faces of the children and their parents after the children wore the hearing aids and could hear is priceless.
Also present were Mrs Popoola EO, Principal School 1 and Mr Adedoyin SA, Senior Teacher, School 2 representing Mrs Ojemola EA, Pricipal School 2.
