Rotary International, District 9110 has just commissioned a water borehole facility for the Destitute Home, Okobaba in Ebute Metta, Lagos state, Nigeria.
 


The highly impactful project was carried out by the Rotary district in collaboration with Rotary Club of Abeokuta and Rotary Club of Ijoko through the Rotary Week of Service Committee led by the Committee Chairman, Past President Kayode Oladipo.

The facility was commissioned by the District Governor, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie on Thursday, March 7, 2024 as part of the activities for this year’s Rotary week of service celebration which was flagged-off on Tuesday, March 5 with an environmental sanitation exercise in Immaculate Heart Comprehensive High School in Maryland, Ikeja, Lagos.
 


The District Governor was accompanied to the commissioning ceremony by her Chief of Staff, AG Ezinne Obioha.

Also present was the Hope President, Rotary Club of Abeokuta who is also Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Rtn. Hon. Motunrayo Adeleye and the President, Rotary Club of Ijoko, Rtn. Ganiyu Abogunloko.
 


Other district leaders and Rotarians as well as members of the committee were also present.
