Tolaram Group and Rotary Club of Singapore have come together to support Rotary International, District 9110 with mind blowing donations.
ISHK Tolaram Foundation, known for its numerous charitable contributions to Rotary has once again done what it knows how to do best- service to humanity.
This time around, the selfless organization partnered with Rotary Club of Singapore in District 3310 to donate a total sum of N15, 000, 000 to the Rotary district as support towards acquiring a new generator set to power the Rotary Centre in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria as well as towards the annual vocational training programme for young girls and boys in Lagos and Ogun state which the Rotary district covers.
While the Tolaram Foundation presented a cheque of N7, 500, 000 to the District Governor, Rtn. Ifeyinwa Ejezie for the new generator set, Rotary Club of Singapore presented another cheque of N7, 500, 000 to the District Governor for the vocational training.
Presenting the cheques at the Tolaram Group’s Victoria Island office on Friday, December 1, 2023 was the Chairman, Tolaram Group, Honorary Rotarian Mohan Vaswani as well as the District Governor Nominee, Rotary International, District, Rtn. Shahul Hamed, a member of Rotary Club of Singapore and one of the Vice Chairmen for the 2024 Rotary International Convention Planning Committee.
Accompanying the DG was the District Governor Elect, Rotary International, District 9112, The District Executive Secretary, PAG Tayo Adelaja, The District Treasurer, AG Alex Ajibo, and the Special Assistant to the DG, PP (Dr) Laurine Ubanozie.
Also present was the president of Rotary Club of Eko Atlantic, Rtn. Sedananda Melanta as well as two other members of the club- AG Mamta Debroy and Rtn. Binay Saraf who is also with Tolaram Group.
