To mark the "World Prostate Cancer Awareness Day", Rotary District 9110 Organized Free Prostate Cancer Screening and Talk.
Over 100 men benefited from the screening exercise, and also had the opportunity to participate in the cancer awareness talk by a Rotarian Medical Expert, Past District Governor Dr. Svs Rao from Rotary District 3020 India, as well as a Medical Expert with Sebeccly Oncopadi ACT Foundation (SOAR).
The free prostate cancer screening is one of the major projects of the District Governor, Bola Oyebade for this Rotary year 2020-2021 which commenced on July 1 and the project is being handled by Assistant Governor Sola Benson of Rotary Club of Onigbongbo.
The District, in July and August organized similar free prostate cancer screening which benefited several men in Lagos with the total number of beneficiaries now moving close to 500.

Rotarian Abayomi Oluwajimi Bickersteth, a member of Rotary Club of Iju Spring and Rotarian Arikhan Peter, a member of Rotary Club of Somolu recognized and celebrated by the District Governor, Bola Oyebade, alongside the District Secretary, Mufutau Adelotan and members of the Screening Committee led by the Chairman, Assistant Governor Sola Benson for their personal contribution to the sponsorship of the free prostate cancer screening, a major project of the District Governor, Bola Oyebade targeted at screening 1000 men.
Over 100 men benefited from the free screening held today, in addition to the several others that have benefited from the various screenings that were held in July and August this year respectively.
