Rotary International District 9110 Governor, Rotarian Ifeyinwa Ejezie has stated that it is the duty of Rotarians to create hope in the world and make the world a better place.
She stated this while giving her remarks at the installation ceremony of the 56th president of Rotary Club of Ikeja, Rotarian Emeka Ibe held at Lagos Airport Hotel on Sunday, July 9, 2023.
The event witnessed the presence of Rotarians from across the various Rotary clubs in the district. Also gracing the event was the Doyen of Past District Governors who is also a member of the club, former Minister and Past District Governor ( Prince) Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi, as well as a host of other district leaders.
The Guest Speaker, Pro-Chancellor, Plateau State University and Enugu State University of Medical Science, Monsignor (Prof.) Obiora in his speech urged Rotarians across the world to learn from Rotary Club of Ikeja. He commended the club’s for us years of impact and touching lives while urging the newly- decorated President to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors.
Rotarian (Chief) Olusegun Osunkeye, a member of the club also delivered a goodwill message. It was a wondrous ceremony where the Clubs Board was also installed and funds raised for worthy causes.
