Rotary Club of Magboro New Town has just rescued Primary Health Centre, Oke Afa in Magboro, Ogun state from shortage of power supply by providing them with a power supplement.

The club donated a brand new 4.5KVA generator to the health centre and also constructed a generator house for the centre where the generator will be stationed.

Commissioning the projects on Saturday, July 10, 2021 was District Governor Remi Bello alongside the club president and other members of the club. Also witnessing the commissioning was the Special Adviser to Ogun State Government on Health, Rotarian Dr. Tayo Lawal, a member of Rotary Club of Gbagada.

The club president, when narrating how the project came about, explained that the club members during the needs assessment conducted in the centre, were informed of lack of adequate power supply in the community which immensely disrupts operation of the centre.

The club however decided to come to their rescue by providing them with a standby generator and a place to station the generator inside the premises.
